Terms and Conditions

 

Glynn Angels is committed to making dove releases a memorable event for all occasions. We guarantee our releases are coordinated by knowledgeable staff.

 

 

The safety and well-being of our birds must be considered and preserved at all times.

 

 

We only release well trained birds outdoors during daylight hours at distances that they can safely return to their loft before sunset.

 

We no not ship birds for self-release.

 

We arrive at the release site 30 minutes prior to the time that the event is to begin to set up and to give instructions for hand releasing if appropriate.

 

We dress in appropriate clothing for the event.

 

Release Times

 

Our birds may be released any day of the week from sunrise to late afternoon at times that allow them to safely return to their loft by sunset. Contracts will state the latest time in which the birds can safely be released. We understand the release time contracted is an estimate as event schedules are not always exact. We therefore allow an additional 30 minutes beyond the contracted time in which to release our birds.

 

Inclement Weather

 

Certain weather conditions make it is unsafe to release birds. These conditions may include, but are not limited to, rain, thunderstorms, strong winds, fog and snow. During such conditions, birds cannot be released.

 

 

Bookings and Payment

 

Booking date and time may be requested by phone or internet. Date and time will be reserved upon receipt of contract and 25% of contracted fee. Balance in full is due two weeks prior to scheduled event. Payment is to be made by check or money order. A receipt will be issued confirming release date, time and payment received.

 

Distance Charge for Releases Beyond our Service Area

 

Additional charges may apply for releases contracted beyond our 75 mile Service Area.

 

Cancellations

 

Glynn Angels, at its sole discretion, may cancel a release. Events that may lead to a cancellation include, but are not limited to, inclement weather, release delays, Acts of God, and accidents resulting in loss of stock or inability of staff to appear at release site. Determination of conditions that allow release of birds under the terms of the agreement is solely determined by Glynn Angels.

 

Refund Policy Related to Cancellations

 

A full refund will be issued if Glynn Angels cancels a release, prior to leaving the loft with the birds for the event, if cancellation is due to unsafe weather conditions, Acts of God, or accidents resulting in loss of stock or inability of staff to appear at the release site. A refund of the contracted amount, minus a $50.00 service charge to cover travel time and expenses, will be issued if a release is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions after Glynn Angels has arrived at the release site.

 

Delays and Refund Policy Resulting from Delays

 

Should the release be delayed beyond the 30 minute window allowed, we reserve the right to charge a fee of $25.00 for each additional 30 minute interval. If Glynn Angels is at the release site with the birds and the release has been delayed due to conditions not within our control or is not weather related, but is due to the actual event itself, its sponsors, agents or event participants, and the delay would prevent the birds from returning home before sunset, we reserve the right to cancel the release and deny a refund.

 

Special Considerations Relating to Displays

 

Displays remain in place during Contracted Events, or up to 2 hours. After 2 hours an additional charge of $25.00 per hour may apply.

 

If a release is canceled due to inclement weather and the client contracted for a "Display Package with Release" and still wishes to have the birds displayed at the event, the contract will modified to reflect "Display without Release". The client will be refunded the

 

applicable "Release Package" fees, minus the fee charged for the "Display without Release Package".

 

If a release has been canceled due to inclement weather and the client did not contract for a "Display Package" but now wishes to have the birds displayed at the event, we will be happy to set-up the display and modify the contract to reflect "Display Package without Release". The client will be refunded the applicable "Release Package" fees, minus the fee for the charge for the "Display Package without Release".

 

Refunds

 

Refunds will be made within 30 days of the contracted event.
